Cherry
Smash
The fresh
cherries are on the way, so let’s prepare a cherry smash. This drink is really
very light, refreshing and most of the times only one will not be sufficient
for your desirable lust for cherries. If in case the recipe is not really on
your taste, you can always add additional ingredients like using a cherry
liquor to touch up the flavor, or using different sort of cherries for more
variety and every other thing that is on your mind. So let’s wash our hands, get the needed hardware and begin to prepare this smash.
The ingredients for 4
servings (we are not going to drink alone of course!):
1 cup of
fresh or frozen cherries
¼ cup of fresh mint leaves
7-8 spoons
of white or brown sugar
Around 200
ml. of Dark rum
¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 cups of
soda
How to
prepare:
Place the
cherries, mint leaves and the sugar equally in 4 tall glasses. Mash everything
and then add the rum and the lemon juice. Put some ice in the glasses and top
it up with soda. We garnish with mint sprigs. Cheers!
