Hangover cures (or how to chase the blue devils away)

I bet that almost anyone of you had that kind of mornings which you curse the amount of drunk cocktails at the night before. The place was good, there were some of your best friends and somehow the liquor was just pouring from itself in your glass. No one is thinking about the next day. (Some other time we will discuss how to avoid drinking when you are on a work behind the bar). The night is going on and on you are having a party time, but inevitably the morning comes. You have to go back to your daily things to do - the thing you do for living, kids, wife, girl/boyfriend, doesn't matter :). All lose sense in the very moment you try to get up - a pain runs through your body and goes directly in your head, the room is spinning, and the second you say "what the..." you feel the terrible stench coming from your mouth. You think you are lost ?"Have no fear your fellow bartender is here" to give you some advices for chasing the hang-over away. But don't forget that everybody has his own way to fight the hangover.

Some easy ones
1. If you drank vodka the night before, drink 20-25 ml of vodka in the morning and after that eat a warm chicken or beef soup. Really helps!
2. Buttermilk (or the way we call it Airjan). How to prepare it : In a collins glass use 2 parts yogurt and 2-2 1/2 parts of water and stir well. Add a pinch of salt before drinking.
3. Don't forget the Bloody Mary :) but make it virgin! (this means without the spirit) )

Kind of complicated ones

20-25ml of brandy
3 dashes of apple (cider) vinegar
3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of tomato ketchup
A dash of angostura
1 egg yolk
blackpepper (or use chilli if you like it)

Shake everything without the egg yolk in a shaker half full with ice and strain into glass which you like over 2-3 icecubes. Try to float the egg yolk on top add a pinch of pepper and drink.

The BULLSHOT (widely famous)
20-25ml of vodka (use some quality stuff like (dear advertisers here can be your product))
60 ml of beef bouillon (clear and chilled down)
2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
5 ml of lime juice
pepper and salt

Put everything in your shaker half filled with ice. Shake and strain in a glass suitable for you to drink off :).
Now for the ultimate hangover cure : Know your limit and don't drink so damn much ! :)

See ya next time !

P.S My hangover cure is OJ (for hydratation) + warm chicken soup and a toast.
